Ace Murderer: Detective Hunter

You are the Detective Hunter, a professional murder.

You've just committed a murder in the middle of the night in this mansion and everyone is trying to figure out your identity and have you arrested.

You, obviously, have more important concerns: who could be the detective in this mansion!?

After all, as with any good murder story, where there's a murderer there must be a detective to sleuth him out, so you know that there must be a detective among those in this mansion, but who?

Your goal is to out sleuth the master sleuth at his own game by figuring out the detective's identity.

Of course, you're a professional, so simply finding out the detective's identity would be hardly enough to satisfy you, so another one of your goals is to figure out the reasons as to why the others in this mansion can't possibly be the detective.

How can you accomplish this feat? Well, by using conventions of the mystery genre of course:

Using rules of the mystery genre as described by Ronald A. Knox, with his "10 Commandments", your secondary goal is to figure out which of Knox's commandments each character would be violating if they were to be the detective.

Hear what the characters have to say about the crime and who committed it, and then make your choice.

Don't let that detective sleuth undetected any longer!
